Single rope for sport climbing
The Jampa 9.5 from Beal was designed especially for us to be used as a single rope for experienced sport climbers indoors and out on the rock. With its relatively small diameter, it should only be used if you are experienced in handling and belaying.
Durable and lightweight
However, the rope’s narrow diameter brings along numerous advantages. Its low weight is a major benefit, especially on difficult routes that push climbers to their limits. In addition, the smaller diameter is easier to clip. Those who are confident in belaying will appreciate the smooth rope feeding. Plus, in order to permanently protect the rope from any harmful environmental influences, it has been treated with Thermofluid.
Service life of the rope
The service life of Beal ropes is a maximum of 15 years from the date of manufacture, e.g. (5 years storage + 10 years use). Depending on the frequency of use, or if damaged, the expected service life may be reduced.
The advantages at a glance:
- Lightweight climbing rope for difficult routes
- Easy to clip
- Protective Thermofluid treatment
