Petzl Paso Guide – Half Rope

Technical mountaineering and ice climbing – this is where the Paso Guide 7.7 mm by Petzl comes into play. This climbing rope is approved for use as a half and twin rope. It meets the requirements of the UIAA Water Repellent Test with a water absorption value below 2%. In addition, the high-quality Guide UIAA Dry finish improves the water repellent properties of this rope even further and qualifies it for use in snow and ice. However, this finish doesn’t only reduce the water absorption (and thus improves safety and handling). It also makes the rope dirt-repellent.
