The Quark from Petzl is a versatile ice axe for technical mountaineering and ice climbing. It can be adjusted according to different routes. The relatively straight shaft and the short steel spike provide plenty of traction whilst walking. The material used for ergonomically shaped grip provides additional protection from the cold. The finger rest gives you a better grip and thus more safety during difficult stretches. The Griprest finger rest folds in so that you can stick the ice axe in the snow.
